Offered for sale is this amazing British poster. This is an original vintage theatrical unfolded British Quad Movie Poster (Quad Crown measures 27 1/4" x 40 1/4" [69 x 102 cm])
Artists Josh Kirby depicts the dramatic Star Wars Episode VI elements. All of the important characters make an appearance on this outstanding poster, and it includes Josh Kirby's artistic interpretations of the most exciting parts of the movie.
Important Added Info: Note that there are two versions of the original theatrical British Quad which feature art by Josh Kirby, and contain the same main elements (Han, Luke, Leia, Vader, etc). The more common "action style" features an exploding sandskiff, Boba Fett firing his weapon, Imperial Guards, and more. The less common "Ewok style" is missing those elements but features an Ewok below Han Solo. Apparently, the Ewok version was not considered exciting enough, and Kirby added the other elements at the request of the studio.
You will not be disappointed with this rare and amazing poster. It would be a perfect collection addition for any Star Wars fan, sci-fi film nerd, or poster art enthusiast.
Condition: Very good! The poster was never folded. It has light edge wear and a few light and fine creases in a few areas. This poster will display very well in a custom horizontal frame!
