Autopsy (1975), also known as Macchie solari, is an Italian giallo-horror film set in Rome during a rash of mysterious suicides linked to intense solar flares. A morgue pathologist, played by Mimsy Farmer, becomes entangled in a disturbing investigation when it's suspected that some of the deaths are actually murders. As she partners with a former priest to uncover the truth, the line between science, religion, and madness begins to blur. Directed by Armando Crispino, the film is known for its unsettling morgue scenes, eerie atmosphere, and experimental score by Ennio Morricone.
