Original 1953 Japanese B2 poster for Son of Paleface, the Frank Tashlin-directed western comedy sequel starring Bob Hope, Jane Russell, Roy Rogers, and Trigger. Produced for the film's first Japanese release, this vibrant and exceptionally scarce country-of-origin poster features artwork and design completely different from its American counterparts, highlighted by striking full-length images of Bob Hope and Jane Russell against a bold yellow background, with colorful Japanese typography and additional illustrations of Roy Rogers and Trigger. The combination of eye-catching graphics, oversized images of the stars, and unique Japanese presentation makes this an especially desirable piece for collectors of westerns, Bob Hope memorabilia, Jane Russell collectibles, and rare international movie posters. Particularly noteworthy is its rarity, as examples of this poster are seldom encountered and had not previously surfaced in auction records from the source collection. Originally folded but stored flat for many years and shipped rolled. Condition: Good to Very Good. The poster has a few tiny dot stains around the edges, light scattered creasing, some darkening, and tiny paper loss at the lower right corner.
