Hello, Dolly! is a 1969 musical romantic comedy directed by Gene Kelly and based on the Broadway stage production of the same name. Set in the 1890s, the film follows Dolly Levi, a strong-willed and charismatic matchmaker played by Barbra Streisand, as she travels to Yonkers, New York, to find a wife for the grumpy half-a-millionaire Horace Vandergelder.
