Madama Butterfly (1954) Original Yugoslav Movie Poster 19x27

Original Yugoslav movie poster for Madama Butterfly, released in 1954, an Italian-Japanese Technicolor film adaptation inspired by the famous opera. This striking design features a bold, painterly portrait of a woman in traditional Japanese attire, rendered in vivid colors against a deep blue background, combining expressive brushwork with modern graphic sensibilities typical of early 1950s European film posters. Printed in Yugoslavia for the original theatrical release and offered as an original period poster, not a reproduction. The poster shows a small pinhole along with general wear, including light edge wear and surface wear consistent with age and display, but the image remains strong and visually appealing overall, presenting in fair to good condition.
