Międzynarodowe Akademickie Mistrzostwa Polski 1958 Original Polish Poster 26x39

Original Polish poster promoting the Międzynarodowe Akademickie Mistrzostwa Polski, held in July 1958 under the auspices of the Polish Academic Sports Association. The design presents a powerful modernist athlete in motion, integrated with a flowing band of international flags, symbolizing global academic competition and postwar internationalism. The clean geometry, limited palette, and dynamic composition are characteristic of late-1950s Polish graphic design. The poster has been linen backed and shows evidence of prior edge wear and small losses at the margins before backing, with the restoration providing structural stability and a clean, display-ready appearance while preserving the original artwork.
