Siegfried (1990) Original German Opera Poster 23x33

Original German opera poster from 1990 produced for Richard Wagner's Siegfried at Oper Dortmund. This illustrated design continues the satirical, caricature-driven visual style used across the Dortmund Ring des Nibelungen cycle, depicting distorted, fairy-tale-like figures and symbolic objects rendered with fine detail and muted color washes. The imagery reflects the opera's mythic themes of greed, innocence, and power through dark humor and visual allegory. Printed for theatrical promotion, the poster shows typical age-related wear including light creasing and minor handling marks, consistent with original display use.
