The Golden Fish (1959) Original US Movie Poster 27x41

Original US movie poster for The Golden Fish, released in 1959 and presented by Columbia Pictures as a J. Y. Cousteau production. The poster features a striking, surreal image of a black cat staring into a glass bowl containing a goldfish, paired with bold mid-century typography and award callouts noting its International Critics Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Printed in the United States for the original theatrical release and offered as an original period poster, not a reproduction. The poster was folded and shows visible fold lines along with noticeable wear and tear, including edge wear, creasing, small separations, and general surface wear consistent with age and use, but the central imagery remains strong and visually appealing, presenting in overall fair to good condition.
