Battletoads (1991) Nintendo Game Boy Cartridge Testing

Battletoads is a 1991 Game Boy action-platformer developed by Rare and published by Tradewest. Although it shares the name of the NES game, it features unique levels and gameplay elements designed specifically for the handheld. Players control Rash, one of the three Battletoads, as he fights through various stages to rescue his kidnapped friends, Zitz and Princess Angelica, from the Dark Queen. The game includes beat 'em up combat, platforming challenges, and high-speed obstacle sections, such as the infamous hoverbike level. Known for its detailed graphics, fast-paced action, and extreme difficulty, Battletoads on the Game Boy remains one of the most challenging and memorable titles on the system.
