Crossing the Bridge (1992) is a coming-of-age drama set in 1970s Detroit, following three close friends who get caught up in a dangerous drug-smuggling scheme that threatens to change their lives forever. As they journey across the border into Canada and back, they confront the realities of adulthood, loyalty, and the consequences of their choices. The film stars Josh Charles as the reflective narrator Mort Golden, Jason Gedrick as the risk-taking Tim Reese, and Stephen Baldwin as the impulsive Danny Morgan. Directed by Mike Binder, the story draws from his own experiences growing up in Detroit.
