Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) is a post-apocalyptic action film and the third entry in the Mad Max series, directed by George Miller and George Ogilvie. The film stars Mel Gibson as Max Rockatansky, a lone drifter who wanders into Bartertown, a chaotic settlement ruled by the powerful Aunty Entity, played by Tina Turner. After being forced into a gladiatorial fight in the Thunderdome arena, Max is cast out and later becomes the protector of a group of abandoned children. Notable supporting actors include Bruce Spence as Jedediah the pilot and Angelo Rossitto as Master, part of the Master Blaster duo.
