Jamie Foxx starred as Detective Ricardo Tubbs in the 2006 film adaptation of Miami Vice, directed by Michael Mann. The movie reimagined the 1980s TV series with a darker, more realistic tone and modernized action. Foxx played opposite Colin Farrell, who portrayed Sonny Crockett.
