Planeta Bur (Planet of Storms, 1962) is a Soviet science fiction film directed by Pavel Klushantsev. The story follows a group of Soviet cosmonauts who land on Venus and encounter hostile conditions, strange creatures, and a mysterious, possibly intelligent presence. Known for its impressive special effects and ambitious storytelling, the film influenced later sci-fi works and was later re-edited into Americanized versions, including Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet (1965) and Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women (1968).
