Steve Gaines - One in the Sun (1988) CD

One in the Sun is the only solo album by Steve Gaines, known from Lynyrd Skynyrd. Though recorded in 1975 with his band Crawdad at Church Studio in Tulsa and Capricorn Studios in Macon, Georgia, it wasn’t released until 1988—eleven years after his death. The album delivers nine tracks in about 35 minutes, including songs like "Give It to Get It," "Blackjack Davey," and the title track. It showcases Gaines’s blend of Southern rock, blues, and folk, and remains a poignant snapshot of his songwriting and guitar style.
