A sericel is an image that has been specifically designed for the collector's market and produced utilizing silkscreen techniques. The image is hand inked onto a master cel from which the serigrapher then creates silkscreened lines for the special limited edition. Hand cut screen are created for the vibrant colors of the sericel. Upon completion of the silkscreening process, the screens are destroyed. The original artwork will be vaulted in the Warner Bros. Animation archives.
