Trouble in Mind (1985) is a neo-noir crime drama written and directed by Alan Rudolph, set in the stylized, fictional city of Rain City. The story follows an ex-cop named Hawk (Kris Kristofferson), just out of prison, who becomes entangled with a young couple (Lori Singer and Keith Carradine) drifting into the dangerous orbit of a flamboyant crime boss. The film also features Geneviève Bujold and Divine, blending noir atmosphere with offbeat, surreal touches.
