Under Siege (1992) is an action thriller about a U.S. Navy battleship, the USS Missouri, that is seized by terrorists posing as a band during a retirement celebration. The ship’s cook, Casey Ryback, a former Navy SEAL demoted to kitchen duty, becomes the only one capable of stopping the takeover and preventing a nuclear disaster. As he battles the mercenaries, Ryback uses his combat skills to take back control of the ship. The film stars Steven Seagal as Casey Ryback, Tommy Lee Jones as the mercenary leader William Strannix, and Gary Busey as the corrupt officer Commander Krill.
